  • We had a great experience here. We loved the beautiful gardens, the dolphins and shows, the tigers and lions but what we loved the most was to see the baby tigers through the glass building playing and having a fun time. Ah to be young at heart! The green garden areas are beautiful to see and photograph. I loved the fact that we were not rushed to do anything. Stay and enjoy the day as long as you like.
  • The price is pretty steep for how small the place is but I actually really liked it. It is nice to take a few hours to get away from the hustle and bustle of the strip and watch some dolphins. All the dolphins are trained and trainers will have them do tricks throughout the day. They don't have scheduled shows or anything but the trainers have talks every half hour or so. The lions and tigers are fun to watch too but the dolphins are where it's at.
  • The only place in the world that keeps dolphins in captivity that can claim to be righteous, in my opinion. They refrigerate the water in summer, warm it in winter. They keep them engaged with stuff to do, rather than it being "shows". The staff are the dolphins' servants, rather than the other way around. The tigers are magnificent...and we met Vegas Royalty. Yes, Siegfried himself likes to meet people in the garden. He chats to each and really engages. Lovely man. Told us about how important the London Palladium had been to him and Roy in the early days and how he knew Shirley Bassey!
  • Dolphin viewing and show was awesome. Sophie is a great painter! The trainers/staff were engaging the crowd and very helpful. The big cats were fairly active and also an exciting experience. Only downside was that the gift shops were both cash only (for the day?) but was only notified of this at the counter, after having my kids pick out some souvenirs. Had to help the kids focus on the positive after that, but overall pretty cool experience.
  • I could live here! So beautiful. So clean. The dolphin show was awesome. You can get so close to them. Some of them will even paint a picture. And you can be a trainer for the day too. The lions and tigers are gorgeous creatures. They were very active. We even had a chance meeting with Siegfried who came out for a few moments. What an honor!

Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.
