  • Very informative! And they make it so much fun! Best part is u get to shoot outdoors with the comfort of indoors.... and thats awesome when u don't have to stand out in the Vegas sun! They have so many guns to choose from & the staff is really on their game. Plus it even came with complimentary limo transportation! Definitely the Best Bang for your Buck in Las Vegas!
  • Wow ! A real find. Had a great time, fired several different types of guns, exploded a few targets, experienced the rush of blasting out rounds from some automatic weaponry and got pictures to prove it ! Very nice package. I received the very best personal attention, instruction and treatment. Truly a must for any Vegas trip. "I'll be bahck" :-)
  • We had a great time! Great people running it & awesome selection of guns!
  • We had a great time with Eric and Bryan! Eric has a very organized setup in a comfortable trailer. I really liked the movie references to help pick guns. I went for the sniper rifles and my brother liked the automatic machines guns most. We also did a shotgun and a huge pistol.
  • While not the most education place about guns, its great fun! Basically, the establishment is three trailers in the middle of the desert by a gun shop. You set up an appointment and meet up at the outdoor range. I went with my wife and a friend. We bought the 6 gun package. We were welcomed and went to a trailer where they give you safety information and equipment, then you sign forms and pay them. We had a long wait due to another large party finishing, so we were given extra free tickets, which was nice. Anyway, there are two trailers, one with sniper rifles and one with everything else. We started at the sniper trailer. They have a selection of guns which they relate to popular movies. We each selected and fired 2 different sniper rifles. I used a Blaser LRS 2 (.308) and AWP (Accuracy International .308). Basically, they load the gun and you fire a clip worth of ammo (5 or 6 shots for the sniper rifles). There are various targets which includes ones that explode a little when you hit them. There is an instructor who also gives you a little bit of pointers, although its more about having fun than gun training, I assume. We then went to the other trailer, which had various pistols/revolvers, rifles, shotguns, SMGs, and assault rifles. I used an MP5, Henry Rifle (.45), Colt Single Action Army Revolver (.45), 1887 Lever Action 12 Guage Shotgun (Arnold's T2 shotgun), AK47, and M4. It was great fun and the instructors are very nice. Since its by appointment, there is minimum. It is a little pricey, but its not bad for a once in a lifetime type experience of firing lots of different types of guns from various movies and games. They also take photos of you firing the guns, which are free and e-mailed to you later. We had an issue with the photos where they were incomplete, but we took our own photos too. So I'd say Shoot Las Vegas is great for a gun event: a vacation or party. Its a bit expensive, but it feels like its worth it and they are generous with snacks and water, so you don't feel nickeled and dimed. Again, its not the most educational range (they don't go over the weapons or teach you about loading/stances/etc), but its a great experience.

Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.
