  • I am so thrilled with how perfect my day was! Scenic Las Vegas Weddings made sure everything happened seamlessly. They recommended excellent vendors to complete my look, arrived on time, and took stunning photos! Our ceremony was intimate and exactly what we had wanted. I am so thankful I chose them for our ceremony. I could not have asked for a better day. Thank you for all you do!
  • It has taken me awhile to write this review because, I only really like taking the time to provide positive reviews, so have been dreading doing this one. We got married at the Valley of Fire in August 2016 and, after a Google and Yelp search, decided to hire SLV to coordinate our ceremony and photography there. While I must say, they were very responsive throughout the basic planning stages (which is what I'm giving them one star for), that is where the positive feedback ends. When we and our guests arrived for our wedding at the agreed upon time and location, we had a brief conversation with the officiant, about what type of ceremony we wanted. I specifically told her my father was going to walk me down the aisle and pass me off to my fiancé, rather than "giving me away" to him. We also told her that we had our own vows to exchange. The entire time we were talking she was taking notes, which I assumed were about our specifications. Long story short, she did not honor either of our requests. She prompted my father to "give me away" and did not provide for our own vows within the ceremony. My (now) husband and I made eye contact in the middle of it, silently deciding to not interrupt the flow of the ceremony to interject with our vows. I will say, that when I later emailed her about how baffled I was that she messed up and asked for a refund, she gave us back her $100 officiant's fee. After the ceremony finished and it came time for pictures, I was rather surprised at how abrupt and rude Trey was to my brother-in-law about taking photos with his own camera. Although Trey's logic made sense (he didn't want peoples' eyes going in different directions to accommodate multiple cameras), I felt there was a much more professional and pleasant way to handle the situation. Seeing as how they didn't provide a Second Shooter, I would've definitely appreciated more photos from other cameras. We paid for extra time and locations for sunset photos and, at every location, were placed in mostly the same cheesy poses, with little direction beyond that. I believe it is part of a professional photographers job to get everyone looking their best and to provide variety to their clients. The end product was proof of the lack of effort and professional-grade photography, as his lighting put peoples' faces in half-shadow, eyes were closed in many photos, and most poses were the same. In the end, we received around 400 photos of which only a few are good enough to print as is. I asked a photographer friend of mine if she would fix them for us on her computer and, when I asked for the unedited files from Melissa, was told that Trey doesn't edit the photos and that it's stated on their website. I looked at the Valley of Fire package we booked and it does NOT clearly state that, in fact, the word "unedited" isn't stated under the Professional Photography section or anywhere on the page, for that matter. Further down the page it states you can pay for RAW files (for an extra fee), but, again, it simply isn't clear that they don't do any post-production work as part of their service. I wouldn't hire a photographer/service that does not include post-production work in their prices, as there are so many minor things that need fixing, like lighting issues. We paid an $300 for another hour of photos, in addition to the base fee and the end-product just doesn't add up to what we paid. On our wedding day (ultimately the day that counts), from start to finish, I was highly unimpressed and displeased with the service and performance of this company. I'd had such high hopes in the beginning, as Melissa was so responsive and professional in our initial emails and conversations, however, it all fell apart on our wedding day. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.
  • We were married on 7/11/2016 in the Valley of Fire. The experience was more than we could have hoped for! The team at Scenic Las Vegas Wedding ensured that the day went smoothly. The hair and makeup team that they recommended were fantastic. Our limo driver, B.J. was fantastic and made sure that our whole party was comfortable. Melissa did an amazing job with our ceremony. We don't even have words to describe what a wonderful job Trey did with the pictures. He captured every moment beautifully, from the Valley of Fire all the way to the Vegas Strip. We would highly recommend Scenic Las Vegas Weddings to anyone. We can't wait to renew our vows with them in the future!!!!! Jennifer + Edwin
  • First off, let me start by saying, if you are considering using Scenic Las Vegas, stop considering, and do it! You will NOT be disappointed. From the moment we contacted Melissa, she was kind, personable, and extremely forthcoming with all information. Not only will she help you select the package that best fits your needs, she is flexible and will work with you if you have special requests. We had somewhat of an unconventional ceremony, and this was of no issue to Scenic Las Vegas. Therefore, we were allowed to truly personalize our day just for us. It is clear from the get go that this company is not interested in forcing you into a cookie-cutter ceremony; their goal is to make your day special for YOU. In addition, my mother has some specific mobility needs, and Melissa made sure she’d be taken care of and safe out at the Valley of Fire. The ceremony itself was more than we could have asked for-the scenery was incredible, and Melissa did an outstanding job of officiating. We selected a later ceremony time, hoping to snag some of the sunset pictures you see on their website. However, mother nature had other plans, and we had the experience of seeing hail and flash flooding in the desert. Scenic Las Vegas certainly had no control over the weather, but they did have control over how they handled it. They tried to get in as many photos as possible before the storm overtook the Valley of Fire, and also made sure we all got out safely. At first, my fiancé and I were a bit dissipated that we didn’t get the sunset photos we had always hoped for, but once we saw our photos taken by Melissa’s husband, Trey, we soon realized we actually had the most beautiful clouds from the storm in the background. So, in the end, we didn’t even mind that we missed out on those pictures, thanks to Trey’s stellar photography skills. The photos we have are literally some of the most beautiful, artistic photos we have ever seen. There is a reason this company has such high reviews, and I promise you will not regret using them. Take it from a very happy couple, using Scenic Las Vegas is the way to go!
  • Thank you Scenic Las Vegas Weddings for making our wedding experience seamless, memorable, and exceeding expectations!
