  • The sweet people (Joyce) here at KOA saved us by getting us an RV space after we were turned away at Oasis RV park here in Las Vegas after having reservations for over two weeks and upon arrival turned away because of our pit bull mix dog who is a wonderful Dog and a gentle spirit. We had no idea what we were going to do and after calling several other places we called here and we were given a place immediately with no problem with our dog. It May not have the ambience of Oasis but the staff were very compassionate and friendly.
  • Quick stop on our way across the country. Clean, easy to hookup. Very nice staff. Good perks at the casino next door. Cheap! But it is a glorified parking lot. No tables, no campfires, it's loud all night.
  • Typical Vegas RV spot - no grass, all pavement and gravel. Very clean, quite area and a decent Vegas-price. Staff were friendly at the check-in. KOA staff walking through the grounds at night, keeping an eye out. Pool was clean and laundromat was easy to use. My complaint is that there's no wifi - only while physically at the office and pool; as someone who needs to work during various times during our trip, this was a downfall.
  • The pool is filthy. The lady at the front desk told me we could get free WiFi at our campsite but had to pay for it through the casino. My first thought was it's not really free then. So I called casino to pay for WiFi and they had no idea what the receptionist was talking about. Apparently the WiFi here is "free" if you sit my the pool or in the store area. I really don't want to sit in the store or take my electronic out by the pool. There isn't as much shade as advertised either. The bathrooms/showers were clean. The laundry area was so-so. No machine to buy laundry soap or dryer sheets so remember to bring your own. We travel quite a bit and I am surprised that this is a KOA. All the ones we have encountered have been VERY NICE. I'll be moving down the road to a nicer and cheaper campground as soon as my first weeks reservation is up.
  • Stayed here while visiting Vegas. Grounds were clean, showers were clean (and hot!), bathrooms were clean. Was very little noise at night which allowed both of us to sleep great (didn't really expect this in Vegas). Grounds are a little far from the strip but they offer a free shuttle. There are two casinos right next door if you don't want to go to the strip. The only reason we didn't give it more stars is because 1) the laundry facility sucked! our clothes came out dirtier than they went in (literally full of sand!) and still soaking wet. I had to wring them out by hand before putting them in the dryer and the dryers also suck they are so packed full of lint that they really don't dry anything and 2) some inconsiderate person let their dog crap right outside of our camper door! I mean really? They have a dog park, of which we were parked within 100 feet of, and they provide dog poop bags. So inevitably I stepped right in it which really pissed me off and it then got tracked all over around our site, which resulted me having to clean it up.
