Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.

  • This place was a lot of fun, one of those place you walk by and always think maybe I’ll stop by next time. I saw a promo on Group On for $18.00 and it included a free slushy and figured why not add it...  more »

  • You can actually get near and touch the celebrities wax replicas and take as many pictures as you like. Do it at your own pace, nobody will rush you. At the end enjoy a 4D Avengers 10 minute movie. All included in the same price! I loved this experience and this is my second time visiting Madame Tussauds.. Highly recommended!
  • Such a good time. Many fun photo opportunities. If you've ever been to a different one (I'd been to the one three times), it's a different group of figures - more pop culture and Vegas entertainment, whereas London was more historical, political, and only the biggest celebs (think the Beatles - like actual legends). But this one is PERFECT for Vegas. My favorite was the scene from The Hangover. Have fun!
  • Super fun realistic wax figures! The museum was built over the old "Sands" hotel, and is apparently haunted. They got this new sit down theatre experience that sprays water at you and tickles your feet for the most realistic experience.
  • We had a great time at the wax museum! We brought the package that included the entry and a slushy and we got to see the 4D Avengers movie. It's insane... almost scary how realistic the figures are. My only complaint is that when we purchased our online tickets the website leads you to believe that you can bypass the line for general admission and that is not the case. We were forced to wait in a 20 minute line to purchase tickets that we already had.
  • The price is a little steep, but its a really cool attraction. We had a great time visiting and the staff was very friendly. It was worth seeing.
