Machine Guns Vegas, Las Vegas

4.5
Lock and load with some of history's most famous firearms at Machine Guns Vegas, offering a safety-focused but high-octane shooting experience. The range maintains a wide and varied armory of weapons, from the iconic AK-47, M4, and Uzi to the lesser-known SPAS-12 shotgun and FN SCAR. In addition to assault rifles and handguns, the range offers a number of themed packages--some featuring true machine guns, such as the legendary M249 SAW and Soviet RPK units. Keep in mind that the range does not allow you to use outside firearms, and it does not sell guns. Be sure to also check the website for special events, offers, and web-only prices. • Being a first time shooter was a little apprehensive about using firearms, but the team at MGV , especially Chris the instructor, made the whole experience something to remember. Did the Urban assault...  more »

  • *** A lot of bad reviews are in relation to gun rights debate *** If you are not American (like me) you don't really understand or care about this. Not taking sides, but I think the experience should be rated on its own merits, not based on politics. Plus I didn't get the feeling that they were anti gun at all, but again, what do I know... That said out of all the ranges I've been to here, this one was the best so far. It is that good, really. If you're looking to shoot a gun in this city, this is a great place to it. I'm an experienced shooter and I loved my time there. Super friendly and professional staff, good gun selection and reasonable prices. Awesome place.
  • This was a fantastic experience. We were picked up in a van with a machine gun on the roof from our hotel and this set the scene. The location was very well maintained. Amazing staff who were helpful and attentive. Safety is the no 1 priority and there is more than adequate instruction. The actual shooting was incredible. We took an upgrade which allowed us to fire an AK47 for an additional $45. Well worth the money and added to a memorable experience. Afterwards we were returned to our hotel in the same van. Highly recommended.
  • Amazing service and the gun package are awesome and they have a great selection! The entire staff was Amazing and are instructor Jared was Awesome! We had a blast! If you are looking for a really great experience and a good time don't look further the guys and gals at MGV are the real thing!!!!!
  • This place has decided to be anti-gun in the wake of the Las Vegas shootings. Crazy as it is for a business literally based around shooting guns... they don't think civilians should have the right to own firearms, and are advocating increased restrictions and controls. Obviously, this is because it benefits their business model If people have to go to them to fire weapons. Regardless, I've been here and had a decent time a few years ago. Nice selection of guns. Instructors are kind of useless, and prices are high. Spend your money elsewhere, at a very similar business in Vegas. Same thing. Better prices. Nicer people. Pro gun owners.
  • Review revised (read below)************** Never been to this place. Hear it is expensive. But I work across the street and the chicks that work there are in the top 10% of hotness..... serious eye candy packing heat.... lol. ************************************************ Ok.... now I had to change my rating and opinion of this establishment. Still have good looking women working here, prices are still high, and the big news is they believe in restricting private ownership of firearms. Read the other reviews and most are SPOT ON. You can get more Bang for your Buck at other places. And those places usually are huge 2nd Amendment advocates. This place, which issues a Press release after the Las Vegas shooting for God knows what reason since it had ZERO to do with their business, has now advocated for the restriction of gun sales. If you're a gun enthusiasts I suggestion finding another place to spend your $$$

Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.
