  • For the money (actually was a gift but I would have paid). The staff is friendly and know they are selling adrenaline. What a total kick. I got to drive a Porche GT3 and a Ferrari. You can drive them ...  more »

  • We go to the drags, nascar, the dirt track and the bullring so we spend lots off time there. Awesome place!  more »

  • Went during the holiday light show in December. It was a fantastic experience although very slow to get in with many many cars! Our kids had a great time! Free cookies and a decent concession stand. They actually come out to your car and bring it to you to not delay the entrance. I would do it again it's only about 25 to $30 to get in and it's for the entire car load.
  • We went during Christmas time to the speedway of lights. It was a fabulous family activity even for teenagers I have 2. They had fun light bulb light up necklaces and coco or warm apple cider. You start off going into a tunnel (or space under fan seats at the speedway) and they have you tune your car radio to a special station that plays special music for the ride. Everyone is so busy trying to take in all the millions of lights there actually getting along and really enjoying family time oh yeah with no cell phones either. I guess miracles do happen. Lol
  • Took the whole family to Glittering Lights for the holidays. It was still busy after Christmas. The price is a little high for what you get, but the atmosphere is fantastic. Make sure the person driving behind you turns off their headlights (like they are supposed to). Some drivers get overwhelmed by the check in process, they forget to listen to directions to turn off headlights.
  • If you have the Need for Speed, and wanted to see the cars go zoom zoom zoom, then the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is the place to be. Unfortunately none of that was going on during my last visit. My last visit was all about the Christmas light display, which was awesome! There's always something different going on up here, whether it be a car race, a big concert / party, or the Christmas lights display. Come out to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and let's see what's going on out there next.
  • Yes there is parking for RVS IN the infield and a MOTOR HOME / RV parking lot all around the track also with the camping spot they have a party in the neon garage free for camping at the race track. It has outrages prices for water, beer and everything . Water is $5 DOLLARS a bottle that's why you take your own stuff and snacks in your vehicle with cold drinks for after the race or tailgate in the parking lot before and after the race. They have the Richard Petty driving experience at VEGAS and they also have the Petty driving experience at Phoenix also. The pictures are at the neon garage and VICTORY LANE OR CIRCLE which ever you want to call it. MARCH. 2017

Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.
