Towering over 158 m (520 ft) above the Las Vegas Strip stands High Roller. As one of the world’s tallest observation wheels, it offers one of the most impressive views of the city. A ride in one of the air-conditioned pods takes around 30 minutes and is accompanied by audio commentary. You also have the opportunity to include an open bar inside your cabin. Rides during the day are considerably cheaper. However, riding at night is very popular as passengers can enjoy a 360-degree panorama of the city lights. Wenn überhaupt, dann sollte man sich den High Roller nachts gönnen, tagsüber ist Las Vegas ja von recht überschaubarer Schönheit. Ab halber Höhe kann man schon gut was sehen, ganz oben ist die Übersic... more »If anything, then you should yourself at night the high roller, during the day, Las Vegas is of rather more straightforward beauty. From halfway up you can see what it's all right, the overview is of course the best at the top. But: The Hotel Palazzo is, for example, significantly higher than the Ferris wheel, you can enjoy a free visibility at any time. The good: In the evening many gondolas are empty, one has a gondola for himself quickly. The journey from the upper vertex point to the exit at the bottom is then painfully long - it has seen everything and just want to get off. For the high rollers is a more expensive fun: 37 dollars for an adult the dark time of the day (stand: December 2018). Who lives in the hotel of LINQ, for example, receives discount $10 after all, finally, the high roller belongs to the House. The Ferris wheel is definitely not a must: the upper floors of many hotels, you have a better view.
Decided to visit the high roller on our recent trip to Vegas after going several times and always missing out. We went during the day and upgraded to the open bar option which meant we had a whole pod... more »
This was a pretty solid experience. We went at night so the views were fantastic. Bought the happy hour tickets so we could continue our happy little buzz but I’m not a fast drinker so it wasn’t worth the price for me. The bartender was so engaging and fun and absolutely made the experience with his showmanship and personality that he made the extra price for drinks totally worth it. If I did it again I would probably start my night of drinking on the High Roller and put down as many as I could in 30 minutes 😃 The views of Vegas are so pretty and definitely worth a ride especially if you’re a Vegas newbie.
I would definitely recommend riding this attraction. It was a great start to our night. Bought the Happy Hour tickets and got to ride with Cheryl. She made the ride 10x better! She was lightning fast w/ the drinks and even offered to take pictures for us. She engaged us all and kept everything super fun. 10/10 would come back just for Cheryl!
Excellent value for money! My son and I took a trip on the High Roller as our final Vegas activity and we both really enjoyed the 30 min trip up to 540ft. the views are amazing from the top and the slow climb up allows for plenty of sightseeing up and down the strip and further out, views you wouldn't normally get. We went about 6pm and were fortunate enough to get a pod to ourselves, so after the discount for purchasing tickets online, we found this a great activity at a reasonable price which is rare to find in Vegas.
We had a delightful time at the High Roller! We had three adults and four kids, and a cabin just for us. A member of our party is recovering from knee surgery and they were so accommodating with her wheelchair, it was awesome. There was a great selection of beverages for kids & adults alike. We enjoyed many a fine beverage and took so many pictures (particular favorite photo op was flipping the Trump hotel the bird). Staff was patient with us as any party with that many kids can be trying, I’m sure. The bartenders were friendly and kind, and overall we had a great experience on the High Roller!
So much fun! We had four adults and two teenagers and it was a super fun time! We had an entire cabin to ourselves and it goes slow enough you don't get motion sick. You get amazing views of ALL of Vegas. Would definitely go again and again. Recommend the nighttime ride.
