Flamingo Las Vegas, Las Vegas
(3.3/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web)
A lush natural oasis in the middle of Nevada's desert, Flamingo Las Vegas is one of Las Vegas' more unusual tourist attractions located within one of its major hotel-casino complexes. This peaceful wildlife sanctuary houses Chilean flamingos, koi fish, turtles, swans, ducks, pelicans, and ibis. You can drop by for a quick photo opportunity with one of the habitat's resident parrots. The animals inhabit artificial islands and streams surrounded by iridescent waterfalls and lavish greenery. Try to time your visit to coincide with one of several daily feedings. Put Flamingo Las Vegas and other Las Vegas attractions into our Las Vegas itinerary planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Need a break from the noise and lights, this little habitat is off the east side of the casino near the buffet and has an assortment of birds and fish to look at. And it's FREE..
  • Great to stop by if you are staying in a nearby casino. Fairly small attraction so unless you really have an interest in Flamingos I don't think I would take the time to make a large effort.

  • Perfect location, right in the middle of the strip! We could walk to most everything we wanted within 15 min or hop on the public bus and get there quickly. Room was great, very clean and we overlooked the pool and gardens. We loved the habitat with actual live flamingos and the total price for the room was very affordable. This is my favorite place to stay on the strip!
  • Great location. Room was clean and very roomy. Comfy bed and pillows. Tub didn't drain well but other than that, great experience. Staff was also great.
  • If you like bed bugs you'll love this hotel! I Stayed at the Flamingo for a conference and was bitten repeatedly by bed bugs the first night I tried to sleep there. Reported this to management who sent security to file a report and we caught one of the bed bugs, took pictures and videos. They changed our room and we didn't get any rest since we were afraid to get bit again. In hindsight, we should have requested a refund and stayed elsewhere immediately (but who wants to do all that at 1am...). I was told their investigators would get back to me which they did about three weeks later to tell me that they inspect their rooms and all of their rooms are clean and I MUST HAVE BROUGHT THE BED BUG WITH ME!!! I've never had such a bad hotel experience in my life. Their food is overpriced and horrible and their service to their customers is deplorable! Consider yourself warned!
  • The casino where really cool. Staff members also helpful when you need something and smiling. The hotel is one of the cheapest but the rooms are really great. The view was good. Two things where disappointed. There was a closed door between our chamber and another one also we could ear everything as it was on our room. And the second one is that there is no hand soap, no shower gel. It was the first time I didn't have them. This explains why I set 4 stars instead 5.thanks for the trip anyway. Next time I come back to Las Vegas I will book again at the Flamingo.
  • A little outdated. But so happy their entire food court was open at 2am! It's good to have some good food selection late at night. We came from Caesar's Palace which only had pizza available for late night food. And there was a long line for that. I'll keep Flamingo in mind again for their late night food option!
