  • Honestly, we just walked through, and then went elsewhere after deciding that we preferred a sit-down restaurant.
  • We happened to stumble upon this place. What an amazing location for families. If I lived in vegas, this might be a weekly trek. What an awesome concept. This place has something for all ages - a play...  read more »
  • Recommended by our son who moved to LV in late 2015. Away from the frenetic Fremont St. thoroughfare, with interesting gift shops, art shops and a great up-in-the-air restaurant called The Perch. All ...  read more »
  • Wide smiles everywhere you looked at Container Park today. Parents poured in. Toddlers, Spider Man, little tiny Wonder Woman's, sugar candy popcorn, BBQ, we arrived early to set up, but the toy store KAPPA helped entertain the children with stories of Pokemon, Star Trek, they had blocks for learning Hebrew, German, Ukrainian, Russian, music boxes, Super Man and Spider Man posed for babies in strollers. Baby Thor and Batman ran around the play ground. Downtown was Heaven for the Children This Labor Day Weekend. The Children Loved Super Hero Day. Every weekend is a good weekend, if we can spend a few hours at lunch and play inside the Downtown Container Park.
  • Absolutely wonderful family friendly and lively place to hangout at. An entire park made of containers for increasing local business is just a genius effort! As much as the fire breathing mantis is an entertaining factor, don't miss out on spending a nice quiet time there with your friends during lunch or brunch in some cases.
  • The Downtown Container Park is a great outdoor hang out spot in Vegas. If you are tired of the strip and want to see what urban community planning should look like, this is the spot. As in the name, everything is made from old shipping containers. There are a lot of little boutique shops for clothes, games, chocolate, ice cream. I went with a couple of friends and except for the Vegas heat it was a wonderful afternoon. There is a "tree" house for kids to go up and play and a little park area for them to play in. There is also a wine bar and a fabulous whiskey bar for the big "kids". The guys in my group are whiskey connoisseurs and they learned about a few new whiskeys from the bartender. He was great at matching a preferred taste profile to the many many whiskeys that are offered.
  • Unique Park with shops and multiple eateries downtown Las Vegas. Businesses are in old shipping crates. In the center there is a cool container slide setup for kids to play on. Definitely family friendly and an easy way to spend an entire afternoon. Some downsides are food /drink prices are pretty spendy. Not sure if it's daily but everyone under 21 is asked to leave the park after 9pm. Only parking near the area are pay lots.
  • Do not go here during the day. The treehouse was closed. We couldn't even play there because the staff person had to sit at the gate and "make sure no one brought drinks in or left their kids unattended" despite it being a complete ghost town. Not a soul around and neither staff person, we talked to two, would take me and my daughter on the slide. Brutal experience. Don't bring your kids. Waste of parking money.
