  • So I'm an architecture and construction buff (teach both) and I have to say that if you have any interest in either, you should stop here. It's funky and quirky and would best be described as an artsy...  more »
  • Itʻs nice that an attempt is being made to improve the area around the El Cortez but this is taking so long that Iʻve lost interest cause itʻs totally gross for about a block and I would not recommend...  more »
  • It is a fun place to visit if you are downtown. The food options are not great, you would be better off going to Glutton or Eat just across the street.

  • i love downtown container park. Between all the shops and restaurants there is something here for everyone. i love that they have a huge jungle gym play area that literally looks like a huge tree house for the kids. They also have building foam blocks, huge legos and a huge connect four game for the kids too. However, I've seen a few adults play with them as well. =) Love coming by on the weekends. Also at night they have a nice fire music show by a huge prey mantis. Although I'm not quite sure of what time or days. So grab the whole family and stop by!
  • Went to hang out and charge my phone, bought a drink for a hefty price and they kicked me out because they thought I was sleeping in the bathroom. I was taking my morning dump(was in there for about 5-10 minutes), and just because I had my backpack they automatically assumed I was HOMELESS and sleeping, so security approached me rudely without asking any questions and demanded that I get off their property. Due to intimidation and confusion I got off their property immediately without thinking that I spent money in this place. VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND PROFILED ME.. They finally owned up and let me back in after I went back and demanded to talk to the manager kindly explaining that I gave them business and bought a drink, had fresh clothes on, just showered the night before, and had no signs of being a dirty homeless. It doesn't matter what happened after, whether or not they let me back in, the damage is already been done, they profiled me, disrespected me, and intimidated me even though I gave them business and was very clean as a person, no signs of being homeless except for a backpack...A BACKPACK!! ARE BACKPACKS NOT ALLOWED AT CONTAINER PARK??
  • Funky local gathering place created out of shipping containers. Some good eats and drinks. Really cool local merchant selling decorative stuff for the home; another had handmade soaps, candles and bath salts. I had some good tacos and a blood orange margarita from Pinches Tacos. Play areas for kids during the day; at night you must be 21+ to hang out.
  • This place didn't used to be here. Really glad they added this to the area. The shops & the layout are well put together. There is a big playground, with a big playhouse, for kids. Free Zumba dance/workouts that draws a good crowd.
  • Oak and Ivy was the best part about this place. A truly awesome and unique bar. It's a must! And honestly the highlight of my trip to Vegas. I don't think I've ever found a place that offers bow tie lessons but I hope I remember how to do it later. There's some other nice shops and good eats in the area as well. Sasa pops, I think the place is called but had some really good refreshing options.
