  • This Children's Museum is excellent. It is very interesting even for adults. The place is very clean and well kept, and has some exhibits that are super creative. My Grandson was totally enthralled wi...  more »
  • On our fam vacation from Los Ángeles to Las Vegas we made a stop here until it was our checking time at our hotel and I'm glad we did. The kids had so much fun and so did we. This is not your typical ...  more »

  • I love, love, LOVE children's museums. This one has the typical exhibits and stations and it is clean, but it feels like it was made with a lot of money but not a lot of soul. There's a weirdly strict vibe and 1-3 staff members at every station whose job it seems to be to enforce a bunch of ridiculous rules. It's like if a helicopter parent was a business. I could understand the high presence of staff if they were more active in engaging kids in the concepts of the exhibit or something, but they're clearly there to clean and police. It just doesn't feel like a great children's museum feels.
  • Why does it close so early if it's for kids? The kids don't get out of school until 2-3. Then you have to drive there, by that time you have no time for the kids to actually enjoy the museum. Try changing the hours from 12-7. Maybe just maybe more kids will come through the weekdays.. Just a friendly suggestion.. Thank you
  • I have nothing bad to say about this Children's Museum. I only gave 4 stars simply because it does not even compare to Indianapolis' Childrens Museum. It is my favorite! However, compared to the old children's museum here in Las Vegas the new one is really nice. I tell all of my friends who are parents to take their children.
  • Such a fun, interactive place for kids of all ages to explore! There is a Toddler Town for younger ones and so many different sections catering more to older kids. Definitely a place for kids to grow up visiting! Some features include a dress up theater, a multi floor playground and a water play area! By the way, Bank of America customers get in free the first weekend every month! Just remember to bring ID (even for kids!) to go along with your BoA card (or else you'll be turned away).
  • Didn't expect to spend four hours straight here. Came with 9 and 6 year olds and both kept busy the whole time (along with us adults). Great value!

Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.
