CSI: The Experience, Las Vegas

1.8
While in Vegas, test your crime-solving skills at CSI: The Experience, which was developed by the makers of CSI, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, and the National Science Foundation. You are recruited to work on three murder cases that were committed by three different killers and involve 15 suspects. There are crime scenes to investigate, and lab stations where real forensic scientists guide you through the process of examining forensic evidence. If you find the killer, you'll earn an official CSI diploma. Remember, no food or drinks are allowed inside. Plan my trip to Las Vegas with suggested itineraries provided by Inspirock.

  • Couple of hours spent working out the crime scenes, an experience not to be taken too seriously but really good fun.  more »

  • Staff was pleasant. We did all 3 experiences over the years of coming to Vegas. It’s very fun, we have a nice time every time. The MGM hotel is also a great place to gamble, people watch and eat.
  • Decent experience for the highly discounted Groupon price. Definitely wouldn't have gone for the website full price. It's an easy time waster and semi interesting. Could use a big update overall and more involvement for us to solve the case. Most of the stages basically give you the answer and need to be more challenging
  • We tried this because we got a pack of tickets at a discount that included a ticket here. It wasn't good. The main problem was that it was far too easy. I saw some photos at the crime scene and knew what the "twist" would be right away. I still thought it could be a clever puzzle - but instead as I went through they did everything they could to make it 100% clear exactly what happened. I can't see any adult, teen, or older child finding this challenging at all. Is it meant for kids only? If so they should say that. An example: They ask you to compare fiber samples. This is done on a computer screen, where you touch three different samples and pictures come up. Then you say if they match a reference picture. Well, the picture that matches *is the exact same picture as the reference picture*. The whole thing is like that. There is no way to get anything wrong. In addition, it seemed like every other computer/touch screen was non responsive. Cool idea but not done well. I would have been really disappointed if I had paid full price for the tickets.
  • It might be enjoyable for a 5 - 8 year old, the entire experience feels like it is just telling you a crime. There is no real solving on your own.
  • Loved this experience. We had a Groupon for two cases each so my husband and I had a good time and purchased quite a bit of merchandise. Totally worth it!
