Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.

  • One of the best trap, skeet, and general practic ranges I have ever been to. Wish I could get to Las Vegas more offten just for this place.  more »

  • Hands down the best shooting experience I have ever had. Staff were very polite courteous and helpful. Even if you are an inexperienced shooter you will learn a lot from your visit here. Rented an M9 .22 pistol 50 rounds. Including taxes, lane fees, rental, ammo and protection came to 25.50. By far the cheapest place to rent and shoot in town. Check them out! Mon, Tue is members only so check the schedule before you head out.
  • An amazing facility with friendly staff and great prices! I wish I had the time to go more! They offer archery, trap, skeet, 5 stand, and two sporting clay courses at the shotgun complex (plus the Road Kill Grill BBQ, which is delicious). Then the additional complex just up the road from the shotgun complex offers pistol and rifle ranges from 5 yards to 200 yards. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and I wish they were open a bit longer on the weekends... however still by far the best indoor or outdoor complex I've ever been to!
  • The facility is top notch. The staff is friendly and is the most safety conscious that I have experienced. Efficiency in moving the process of taking advantage of the facility is paramount. As an example, when I had a handgun jam, a range safety person was immediately there to assist. Also, the personnel were always ready to answer any questions on the range or in the office area. To top it off the view of Las Vegas valley was fantastic. Keep up the outstanding effort. THANK YOU!
  • This place is outstanding. From the moment you drive in you realize it's not like normal ranges. It sits on acres of land and is well spaced out. Every one of the staff I met and spoke with was friendly and helpful. It is well operated and has similar safety rules that any range would enforce. I'm from the California Bay Area where ranges are being shut down. It was a great experience to be able to shoot here. I look forward to going back whenever I get to Vegas. Also be sure to stop at Spartan Arms (on the main road just before the shooting range). Friendly staff and loads of supplies.
  • Great facility. Reasonably priced. Safety oriented. Had a jam with my gun and the staff were able assist me immediately.
