  • We took our 21 year old and friend to Vegas for 4 nights for a belated 21 bday for him and 25th anniversary for us (2 separate rooms). When we got to our room we realized that we had 2 doubles instead...  more »
  • It's simple when compared to most modern casinos on the Strip. The façade is interesting and the interior is common.

  • the rooms need updating, staff not friendly or helpful to all guests. Some were very rude and angry at times

  • I came to the Monte Carlo because my last experience was fantastic. This one not so much. I chose the Monte Carlo because I loved their pool area and lazy river. I was closed for refurbishing this time, with nothing published and I was sorely disappointed. Of course I could use the pool at the MGM Grand....I had to walk a mile, or pay 8 dollars each way for a taxi. I also had two queen beds my first night, instead of the king bed I had reserved. They moved me the next day, and then my room key wouldn't work. My whole trip where the Monte Carlo was concerned seemed to be a comedy of errors. Nonetheless, the staff is superior in their guest interaction, and that is their saving grace. It is the only thing that will allow me to give them another chance.
  • Room is clean, bed is comfortable, atmosphere is nice. I like the food options and variety, the shops and gaming area are enjoyable. The smoking in the gaming area is a negative, but you'd find that anywhere. Check-in process took longer than I'd have liked. Long line and an equipment issue but employees have all been friendly and helpful.
  • This hotel is a decent place to stay. They have a nice size casino with your normal games, a smaller food court, a mildly carefree check-in process, and great location on the strip. Some of the potential areas that might be concerning to the average person would be the traffic due to concerts at the arena next door, and/or the renovations occurring at this moment.
  • Rooms are decent, couple cosmetic issues but all in all what you'd expect from a hotel. Breakfast buffet was decent, at $19 probably a little high, but it's in the hotel, so what do you do. I'd stay here again, but with the options on the strip look for a decent deal and go based on that.
  • I go to Vegas every 3 months, and I rate and review every hotel (I stay at different places every time) .. the Monte Carlo wasn't too bad or good.. I found hair left over on the bathroom floor (which is a big pet peeve to me, and video to show future guests to be aware of) so check your room over before you get settled in..
