Encore Las Vegas is a luxury resort, casino and hotel located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The resort is connected to its sister resort, Wynn Las Vegas; both are owned by Wynn Resorts Limited, headed by casino developer Steve Wynn.Encore has been awarded the AAA Five Diamond Award every year since opening. The Towers Suites at Encore and The Spa have both received the Forbes five-star award. Encore Las Vegas and its sister property, Wynn Las Vegas collectively hold more Forbes five-star awards than any other casino-resort in the world and it is considered to be one of the finest hotels in the world. Together with adjacent Wynn Las Vegas, the entire Wynn complex has a total of 4,750 rooms, making it the world's sixth-largest hotel.HistoryOn April 28, 2006, Wynn Las Vegas celebrated its one-year anniversary by breaking ground on a second hotel tower. Initially named the Encore Suites at Wynn Las Vegas, the 2,034-room hotel project cost $2.3 billion and was sited adjacent to the existing resort and on the remaining frontage of Las Vegas Boulevard. Originally envisioned as an expansion of Wynn Las Vegas, Encore Las Vegas quickly became a full-scale resort; it shares resources and is connected to the Wynn resort via a shopping arcade. The resort was estimated to add 5,300 jobs to the Las Vegas area.

We enjoy the smaller size. They have upgraded and rearranged the area since we were last there. We missed seeing Roxie during our visit. Spotless, lovely decor always busy.  more »

When compared to most, the air filtration is better, the tables cleaner and service much better than others. It's a nice alternative to the Wynn if it is busy.  more »

Beautiful resort. Encore is almost at the end or just outside the strip. It is a gorgeous resort. The rooms are spacious, clean and with smart technology. The bathrooms are big too. There is lot of attention to details with the flower arrangements and great dining options for all price range. The check in lines are very long. That is the only downside. Wynn collection store also has lot of shopping options. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Vegas.

Absolutely stunning hotel and gorgeous rooms! Service was great and went to several restaurants at the hotel which were all incredible! Only suggestion would be to have a coffee maker in the rooms, was surprised by how incredible the rooms were and that hey didn't have a coffee pot. Other than that everything was great! Highly recommended, amazing hotel and very very reasonable price.

It was my second stay in 3 years. The hotel was as in great of shape, and as beautiful as it was the 1st time. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Reason for 4 stars: no coffee maker. I really like the ease of being able to have a couple of cups of coffee in the comfort of my room, first thing when I wake up!

Encore is fantastic. The rooms are large, well decorated, and clean. The staff here is friendly and gives outstanding service. The dining options are great and high quality. I love the wine bar.

The entire hotel has the pungent smell of cigarette smoke EVERYWHERE, and in my case I am allergic to cigarette smoke and hated being anywhere down stairs. Only one pool that's even remotely family friendly and it's only 4ft deep. People smoking pot and completely hammered are everywhere in the casino. Very slow check in. Extremely and unnecessarily expensive. No free water, no free snacks. Seriously 6 bucks for a bottle of disgusting fiji water? I recommend eating at the cafe that over looks the pool, the food is very good and the service is wonderful. I recommend room service though it gets very pricey very fast, the food is amazing! DO NOT GO TO THE BUFFET IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCEPT OF WHAT GOOD FOOD IS!!!!!!!!!!!

Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.
