  • It's certainly a good half day excursion! The hotel pick-up is very punctual, call the day before to know the exact time. There are about 40 minutes drive to the ranch. It is composed of a restaurant/bar, a mini zoo, a reconstitution (well tired...) of a street of far west, and stables. After tons of paperwork to sign coaches prepare horses. Thankfully there is a step to climb, and small baskets to hang his water bottle or his cell phone. After a quick rundown on the basics of driving a horse (very simple on paper...), all in single file line! the ride on horseback is perfectly accessible to beginners, horses, placid, know their route by heart, they do not need you! Lasts an hour, with a guide in front and one behind. It is very professional, they have an eye on everyone and horses and ensure the grain. The "weak" are identified and they are well supervised, it's very reassuring. It takes just to enjoy the scenery, which is very beautiful, the guide tells stories during the ride of the lot to know the history of the ranch, on the corner... After the RV round to dinner meal at 10:30 (must get a big breakfast at the hotel if there are not more hungry!) then free time for about 1 h 30. Back to the hotel at the time hair cell, it is well established. It's really a good tour to change the Strip and out of Vegas, and the place is really nice. A remake ;-)

  • Bonnie Springs is a miniscule place 3 miles from the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center. The parking is convoluted and difficult to get into and also packed and very dusty. The Ranch has great food and do...  more »
  • We enjoyed our visit to Bonnie Springs. The scenery is quite stunning on the drive up to the ranch. It was really busy but we managed to find parking after a few minutes. We toured the little Western ...  more »

  • We arrived here on the second leg of our week long spring break trip after 3 nights and 4 days of camping at Jumbo Rocks in Joshua Tree. The views are amazing with the beautiful views of the Red Rocks. Check in was easy and the ladies helping were very friendly. I have to say one person shined and her name is Kay. She was super patient when my kids locked us out not once, but twice!! Then brought up a bag to our room full of electronics that my son left on the ground by the car. Her husband Roy who is a wrangler at the horse stables found my sons lost watch and she even brought it up. She refused a tip! Such amazing service. The best was the horse ride in the morning. Very fun and breath taking views. Steve was very knowledgeable on flora and fauna of the desert. Kris and Roy were great too. My kids had a blast. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Both were good and prices were decent. The hotel is cute but older. Clean, comfortable and Decently priced. The kids loved the animals. We really didn’t go the town or petting zoo. We visited Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire instead. I say skip Vegas with all of its craziness. Come here and you may even see a wild burrow. We did and it was so cool!
  • 30mins West of Las Vegas is this delightful ranch close to the beautiful Red Rock park area. It's in the mountain foothills so stays a lot cooler than the city but us close enough to drive in and enjoy the city life. Rooms are on the basic side but are affordable vs. Las Vegas city prices. Breakfast is not included but there is a decent restaurant close by that services a small Western-themed tourist town with a zoo, large duck pond, waxwork exhibit and thematic plays staged every hour. Admission is free to hotel guests. The wildlife is free to roam and often comes right up to parked cars. We saw beautiful wild mules up close. Be careful and show respect to wild animals.
  • We took our friends here for their first time this weekend! The zoo is much better than you would think for a place out in the desert! All the shows are great for kids, but probably funnier for adults! We had a great time and would recommend coming here to anyone visiting!
  • The price went up again but I understand it costs a lot to feed the animals. Train ride would have been awesome if it wasn't raining! Lots if dissapointed kids including my nephew. The wristband is supposed to include the train but if it is sprinkling the train cannot run so may want to get a ticket for another day. Neat how the animals are walking around and you can feed them. Cool Western show that the kids can get involved with too. Fun times!
  • Good place to go for maybe 1/2 day. A couple of the exhibits were closed when we went but we saw a couple of the shows and the guys playing the characters were great. Very friendly and talkative throughout Bonnie Springs.
