  • I'm an 8 hdcp, mid-60's aged golfer with a driver SS around 93, just so you know where this is coming from- The Arroyo course winds in and out of the Red Rock CC community and is a good, pleasant cour...  more »
  • Did a GolfNow deal for around $55. For the price comparatively it was an OK value. Most of the course is OK, although the tee boxes were not groomed at all and the traps were pretty scarce on the sand...  more »
  • First time I have played this course as I received a decent deal on golf now. I was happy about the choice and it was a nice change. Service was good and the course I thought was in decent condition -...  more »

  • Great shape! True rolling greens, very challenging but still plays fair for the average golfer. Rough looks like an easy shot but that Bermuda can definitely grab a strong hold of your club... definitely playing this again
  • Beautiful, easier course. Favorable bounces, wind at your back. For a Seattle duffer, this played like Brigadoon. Take your mother, or your clients. Everyone wins.
  • Set up a 3PM tee time on Tuesday afternoon. When I arrived the clubhouse desk clerk was very courteous although he was getting blown up with calls to the desk. I used their practice tees for about 20 min, nothing to write home about. Teed off at 3 o'clock on the nose and played by myself behind a foursome. There was a twosome behind me and I offered to play with them to make pace of play better, but they declined. I eventually played thru the foursome only to be hung up by another pair who played slow. This is not a jab at Arroyo, just something for golfers to keep in mind. The course itself was in great shape and the greens were fast as they can get. Tee boxes looked about top notch and only scattered divots in the fairways. The views are awesome, saw the drink cart once and that worked fine for me. The only reason I'm giving Arroyo 4 stars instead of 5 is the wayfinding signage, or lack thereof made me have to ask which way to 'X' hole. Add a couple signs and this is simply a great round of golf.
  • Great course in fantastic condition year round. Staff is very friendly and courteous.
  • Very unfriendly staff, disorganized, had over six groups waiting on the tee box! Attitude problems like their club is special and for their members only, very unwelcoming. Played six other courses during our trip, by far the worst experience. Do not recommend this club if you are visiting Vegas for golf. Our best experiences, Cascata, Reflection Bay, Paiute, all worth the money.

Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.
