We had a wedding package booked at the 'allure wedding chapel' but when we showed up they were shut and looked like they had been for a while. This place was on the other side of the street so I went ... read more »
We were new to Las Vegas when we started looking online for a place for our wedding. Needless to say there are several Chapels but when you search you will not see the exterior of several of the Chapels. I would advise any couple to view the exterior of the Chapel before making there decision. A Special Memory Wedding Chapel fits all your needs with several wedding packages to choose from. The Staff are very professional and will work with you for your perfect wedding. Maria is the photographer and goes above and beyond what you would expect. I would recommend A Special Memory Wedding Chapel to anyone who wants more than just a Elvis style wedding theme.
The whole package was awesome. Picked us up at the Venetian in a limo. Took us out to the Valley of fire. Minister was great. Photographer was so sweet. She did a great job. Driver was great as well. It was a special day for us and they took all the stress away. Thank you all.
Staff was very nice and helpful. The photographer was awesome and made sure we looked great for our pictures. They helped make our special day even more special.
Had my ceremony here and I was highly disappointed. The people there were pushy and antsy. When we arrived at the chapel about 15 minutes before the actual start time, the woman at the desk kept pushing to get started even though some of our guest weren't there and we still had time. The minister, Oh My Goodness... rushed through our vows so fast that we could barely understand her, basically as she was speaking the vows we agreed to a contract that we didn't even understand lol. Also, the unity candles were used and worn in need of replacement (we could have brought our own). However, the deal breaker for us was that we did not receive the proper coordination as promised by Iona weeks prior to the actual date. My guest did not walk down the aisle, I did not walk down the stair case and to make matters worse, we didn't get to recite our own vows that we prepared for each other. We ended up reciting our vows at our appreciation toast later that day. I understand that getting married in Las Vegas is like a quick fast bamm thank you ma'am kind of deal but at the same time it is something that you will forever remember. The photographer was very polite and more concerned as to what we wanted, his services are very much appreciated and the photos were beautiful. This place only concern is getting their money and moving on to the next victim (couple). I just felt it was not worth the money spent, I think we would of had more of a SPECIAL MEMORY at the court house.
All this place cares about is getting you in and getting your money, not your special day, or what you want. The day of our wedding we arrived early as we discussed with the staff two weeks prior, so we could discuss with the minister how we wanted our ceremony. They were incredibly busy and we checked in and they were rude. I was told to wait "over there". It was packed and no place to sit. Bathroom had a line, I saw an empty room with a sign that read "brides dressing room" I went in for just a moment with my sister to put on some lip gloss and was told I couldn't be in there and needed to get out. There were a lot of people and all of a sudden a man came and told me I needed to hurry the minister was ready. She introduced herself and stated some of the things we wanted with the music and went into the chapel. The man closed the door with my sister and I outside and told us to wait, I explained to him we were waiting for 2 more people who had to park a bit of a ways away and were coming, the man said to bad the music was started and we needed to go now or he would cancel the wedding, they were busy and we had to stay on time and hurry. I was still holding the flowers for the other 2 people. I was not ready and had not discussed what I wanted. The man just kept rushing me to go in and start my wedding. The next day my husband and I went in to discuss this issue and the man could care less and did not even apologize. The lady at the desk was also laughing and trying to make it our fault the minister didn't talk to us. Their excuse the whole time was that they were very busy and had to stay on schedule. That was their only concern. It didn't matter to them that they ruined my day, the time I paid for, the ceremony I wanted. The photographer was nice but the photos were just mediocre. He didn't tell me to untilt my head or stand different, didn't mention there were tags showing on my wrap, just took the pictures. The few he took outside were hideous. The few cell phone pictures taken by our party were better. It was so sad and rushed.
