  • I studied 1 year and a half at the University. The atmosphere is very nice, has very good libraries, well prepared rooms, restaurants, swimming pools, gym and various sports fields and courts, in addition to having multiple accommodation for students.

  • NMSU suffers from some of the same problems as any state, research university, such as faculty spending more time on research grants than "growing" students. That said, this is an incredible university for various engineering and business programs particularly.
  • Went there for undergrad. They have great programs. Tuition is cheap and they really care about students. Much better than UNM which I am currently at for grad school. Have cleaner campus and better business school and gym that doesn't look like it is in Africa. Had great experience and learned a lot and knew department heads by name.
  • Beautiful campus, great professors. Biggest downside is a dysfunctional administration, but it still gets 5/5 from me. Las Cruces is also a great college town.
  • Beautiful campus with lots of trees and grass. Awesome weather with almost no winter. Cheaper than UNM (a lot cheaper) and the people are a lot nicer. Cost of living is low, which makes school and living more affordable. Quality education at a great price.
  • Go Aggies! Good basic university, quality really depends on your program and level.
