  • I have visited this garden twice and really enjoyed it both times. It isn't huge but not small either. The gardens are well taken care of and show a lot of natural Florida plans as well as plans non-native to our area. I love that they also have the Heritage Village as part of the gardens. This was a great place to walk around and see and learn about some of the old buildings of Florida. It gives a little view into what life was like in the past. You can't beat the fact that it is free to visit! It was an added bonus for us that it is dog friendly! We love finding somewhere the dogs can tag along with us! They had a nice shaded area with picnic tables that made a perfect spot for us to enjoy our packed lunches!
  • Even better with the update. Definitely worth a trip. Lots of Pokemon's and best place to go in Advent. Spend a few hours and enjoy the trees, flowers, ponds strolling around on beautiful walkways and the new elevated track. Don't miss the Heritage village close by.
  • Well maintained, wonderful selection of native plants. Just be aware Heritage Village closed Mon and Tues. But we enjoyed our afternoon!
  • Love the trails out here... Had a great time and was here all day for free.. Beautiful place bring lots of water if you plan to be there all day.. There is a butterfly garden, great for kids..
  • The Florida Botanical Garden is a true gem that lies at the heart of a system of Pinellas County parks. The formal gardens are well maintained and beautifully organized into collections such as palms, herbs, fruits, and tropical plants. Native plants are highlighted both within the formal gardens and natural woodlands. Particularly considering that there is no admission fee, the Florida Botanical Garden is an essential stop for nature lovers and anyone who who wants to see the beauty that the Florida Gulf coast can produce.
