  • It is a small zoo but has many attractions. The grounds are kept very clean. Prices are very reasonable and even has a senior day. Food is good, portions good and not expensive. Nice selection in gift...  more »
  • We've been going here for years! I have to admit it seems to be a little run down compared to a few years ago.... some new exhibits though. Very well worth the time and money to check it out! Not too ...  more »
  • This zoo is not not an all day affair (but it IS a few hours at least), and definitely worth a visit. It is clean and very pretty. The animals live in nice "natural" exhibits (vs. concrete/fake) and s...  more »

  • Great place to spend a day walking around with the family. Eat beforehand as the food is a bit overpriced. I was able to find a nice spot to breastfeed my son while I was here up by the reptile and bird house. My family visits here fairly often during the summer and we have always enjoyed ourselves.
  • Good fun a great price. It's a small zoo, there's no denying it and half the exhibits are honestly dated/on the small side. But where else where you see a raven that talks? Or three bald eagles when put together, you'd get about two whole eagles?? OR WHAT ABOUT AN OTTER THAT IS MISSING HALF IT'S LEGS????? This place is fantastic if you go in with low expectations!
  • Very nice clean zoo. The lion and tiger exhibit was so cool, you can get so close to them!! Also loved the penguin exhibit because the penguin were outside. The otter exhibit was also a favorite became it was bigger then most and had room for the others to run around. The park was great for having a picnic after we finished at the zoo.
  • Great place to take the kids for a morning or afternoon excursion. We have visited multiple times. Not enough exhibits for the whole day. The reptile house was sparsely populated on our last visit.
  • I've grown up going to Potter Park since I was a baby. This place continues to get better and better. We love bringing our kids here as many times as possible. The year pass is very worth it. Staff and volunteers are very polite.
