Wildlife Area Nature / Park
Connect with Mother Nature at Earth Sanctuary, a pristine reserve, sculpture garden, and retreat center just an hour's drive and ferry ride from Seattle. This tranquil oasis of greenery offers trails that deliver more than just the classic "walk in the woods" experience--look out for some of over 80 species of plants and 20 species of trees, as well as dozens of types of birds that breed on this property. After your walk, visit the retreat center, a non-denominational haven where you can relax and meditate. • Excellent place for contemplative walks and hikes as well as meditations. Strong Buddhist themes and Native American themes.
  • Very cool experience, didn't see as much wildlife as I'd have liked, but it was a wonderful experience!
  • Beautiful, peaceful place to hike. Careful in wet season. Wear mud boots.
  • It was a spontaneous and wonderful delight that my friends and I just so happen to stumble upon whilst exploring whidbey. I encourage everyone to give it a look!!
  • Amazing for a quick scape!
