Very peaceful and calming. The lake is so calm and the animals are so charming, deer, squirrels, rabbits and birds. Just so relaxing for a nice walk in the park more »

Nice state park with a big reservoir to look at. Hiking / mountain bike trails run through the woods on one side and paved trails wrap around the other. Picnic and play areas are fine, a bit old feeling but serviceable. Lake is non powered watercraft only, so nice and quiet. Rowboats are available to rent during hot months. Basketball courts, soccer fields and tennis courts. 2 dog parks for different sizes are members only. It's a nice peaceful park. Plenty of deer, no hunting and a few nice views.
-
Lake is very pretty and I love that you can rent a boat here. I mostly go here for the dog park. You have to pay to get in but all the dogs there are very nice and not aggressive.
-
My wife and I take our grandkids to the park to ride bikes and feed the ducks. There are great walking and bike trails. You will always see deer around the lake trails. Fishing, bird watching, kayaking, family picnics, soccer, basketball and a children's playground can all be enjoyed at Core Creek Park. Relax at a park bench facing the lake to unwind and enjoy taking in all the sights.
-
This park has it all. Kayak or canoe rental, a walking path, a large playground, many picnic areas, and great mountain bike trails. There are good chances you will see deer if you drive through the park.
-
Core Creek Park is great. There's plenty to do there. My daughter loves the paddle boats and canoes. We will return again and again.
