Where to stay in Lancaster

If your trip to Pennsylvania's "Dutch Country" includes a budget for luxurious accommodations, stay at a resort in the city of Lancaster. Though quite pricey, the city's resorts offer access to on-site restaurants, fitness centers, game rooms, indoor pools, and championship golf courses. For something less expensive, consider staying at a bed and breakfast in the picturesque Amish countryside. Inns just a short ride from downtown Lancaster offer good food and comfortable rooms, plus free parking and complimentary Wi-Fi.

  • If you want to see all kinds of antique machinery in action, you definitely want to go check this place out. It's totally awesome.
  • Growing up I was always here with my family and our tractors. Awesome atmosphere!
  • We liked the steam engine games. I can't believe we had to pay full price and we only got there at 6:30 pm though. I think discounted evening prices would draw a bigger crowd. I think that would only be fair. Maybe something to consider in the future.
  • A beautiful place, and wonderful people and great food.
  • An awesome place to go if you love (like I do) steam engines and old equipment!
