Where to stay in Lancaster

If your trip to Pennsylvania's "Dutch Country" includes a budget for luxurious accommodations, stay at a resort in the city of Lancaster. Though quite pricey, the city's resorts offer access to on-site restaurants, fitness centers, game rooms, indoor pools, and championship golf courses. For something less expensive, consider staying at a bed and breakfast in the picturesque Amish countryside. Inns just a short ride from downtown Lancaster offer good food and comfortable rooms, plus free parking and complimentary Wi-Fi.

  • Small brewery with a restaurant. Nice atmosphere in an old building with views of the brewing equipment. Food and service was good! Not far from downtown Lancaster.  more »
  • It was packed when we went but we luckily got a table at the bar. Toms of beer options and they were really good. The food was really really great too. We were there for great beer and were surprised ...  more »

  • DON'T COME HERE. THE SERVICE AND FOOD WAS TERRIBLE! Walked to the front of the brewery to sit outside and drink beer. Was told that they preferred that we sit inside although their were six of us that were going to drink. Was advised by the hostess that the seating was for dining only. There were six tables open. We walked inside. There were two hostesses inside. They said nothing to us. We looked around saw an open table - it had food on it that had not been bused. We asked the hostess to clean the table - which she did. We sat down - no waiter, no waitress in site to great us. Went to the bar, ordered my flight, drank the beer, noted the vibe in brewery was quiet. Unusually quiet for a full brewery. Vibe was staid. Ordered food at the bar. I had to ask the hostess with whom I could order food. A small cheese pizza was $12. Pizza was very average. Ordered a steak sub. Mostly bread and cheese. Probably one of the cheapest made sandwiches I have ever had. I WON'T GO BACK TO THIS PLACE!
  • Hands down one of the best meal experiences I've ever had. From the customer service, appetizers (pick the mussels they are to die for) to the Pittsburgh Steak Salad to the raspberry white chocolate cake... Words cannot express how amazing all these dishes were. Only negative or needs improvement I'd mention is the parking but I would walk 2 miles in heels to come here if I had to... minus the heels ;)
  • I'm sure the food would have been fantastic if we actually were helped. We sat for 10 minutes had three different waitresses pass by our table ..look at our table ..and never came to help us ..this happened at least three times with all three waitresses. I'm sure the inside was different but this is how they conducted themselves outside. Not a good experience when on vacation from Jersey with family .
  • Amazing food and beer. The service was great, and it was a very cool experience drinking the beer that was made there. The tour we scheduled was nice, but wasn't really necessary since you can see all the equipment from your table.
  • The beer is good and really cheap (to a New Yorker - $10 for a six-pack). The food is good, ribs are excellent, lamburger very tasty, burgers are good. Fries are mushy but the sweet potato fries are crispy. I have been here twice in three days and have gotten such a weird vibe from the staff. Shallow beer knowledge or a superiority complex like I'm talking to Hawking. Utter confusion when I asked for a box (to put all the beer in). One waitress only visited us rarely and seemed like a deer in headlights, maybe she was stoned. Very strange experience.
