Theme Park Water / Amusement Park
The imitation stone facade of Dutch Wonderland was built by a potato farmer in 1963. The park has 34 rides and Duke's Lagoon water park, as well as shows and games for children. The Kingdom Coaster and Joust roller coasters are favorites, along with the traditional carnival rides, such as bumper cars. For a glimpse of the past, visit Exploration Island, which is home to 15 early animatronic dinosaurs that growl and bow as you walk the Prehistoric Path. • Great place to take your kids to, not much there for adults or even teens though. Best suited for families with small children. They hold many seasonal events during the winter months such as a Halloween party and Christmas lightshow. I would like to see some things for the adults to do there though.
  • Very fun place for young kids and teens. They seem to a good job of making sure the parents can be involved. Not many great food options but they have a reduced rate after 5pm which is fantastic.
  • This is a great amusement park for kids. There are a couple of coasters, but nothing extreme. My eight year old had a blast. She went on most of the rides without issues. We even watched the water show. The price is low enough that if you leave early, you don't feel like you got shorted.
  • Went on a Saturday in Sept. We did have 2 adults with one 4 year old. Nice day. I found to park to be clean and easy to get around. They only long line was for face painting, so they may want to consider adding more artists since young children appear to be fond of it. The frog and prince show was good and the experience of the log glue was her first . Yet we were sure to let my husband be the one to gave a firm hold on her for descending larger fall. Considering going in June and adding the camping expetience. Anyone know of where I could get a coupon or promotion code for both the campground and park? Overall 4 *
  • We come here every year. It is a nice place for your kid to have fun. Don't come during holiday but come before or after holiday. You will thank me later.
