  • The trails are nice, but there are not many real attractions that warrant the entrance fee. Wish it was cheaper. Or could they offer a yearly pass to those of us from NC. Seems that only SC residents get a fair price for yearly pass.
  • Really cool campground. Coming from North Carolina, having a big lake next to your campsite is very cool. For tent campers, almost no one is tent camping. It's all RVs and Camper Vans. Some people live here, which was kinda strange. There were gunshots in the distance for a good 10 minutes around 7 o clock at night, and then they stopped. The lake is really nice, even on saturday it was almost completely empty from other boats and there is a good supply of fish, and the rentable boats are really nice. We caught about 5 bass in a couple of hours on the lake. Would recommend if you are okay with the very, very southern atmosphere.
  • Beautiful, well-maintained state park! Would like to see more picnic tables, in some out of the way shady spots. Usually not a problem, but we were there on a busy day. But a great state park!!!
  • Good place to go to get away for a day. They have boat rentals... No motors or anchors.
  • Best park for the family visit. Awesome lake. Lovely fishing and boating place. Around the lake nice walking trail. For peace of mind wonderful place. We can arrange family gathering, party, BBQ and nice entertaining playing place for childrens too.
