  • Were passing a day in the community amish of Lancaster, and we loved it. It is curious to see them with their typical costumes and transport (the horse cart and a hybrid) between bike and scooter super kind, see how life, their homes and farms are won... We were walking on one of its wagons, and it was great, the host, a young amish, they would telling anecdotes, curiosities of how lived, the work of men, women, children, religion... A highly recommended visit, above all to know a different culture, and a nice experience.

  • I went to Philadelphia and then went to meet this community in Lancaster (1 hour and a half away from Philly), the Amish world, typical rural town with several farms. A different world to the Amish community has a lot of history, did a little buggy ride pretty cool until one of the properties of this culture, children with typical garments, simple clothes and without vibrant colors usually white, black, gray and blue. After visiting a village with quaint shops, pastries, restaurants etc. I really enjoyed getting to know the culture of the Amish, their stories, and more. Worth the visit.
