  • This road is a unique and fun place to visit. Music is played when you drive over the notches in the road (best at 50 MPH) that creates man-made road noise to the Lone Ranger theme song tune.  more »
  • Well worth the time for a side trip if you're in Lancaster. We drove the road twice at two different speeds, could definitely hear music. This was good pure fun!  more »
  • On our way home from the poppy preserve, we decided to find musical road. If coming from the preserve you will have to do a u turn. The signage for musical road is only on one side so the first drive ...  more »

  • It's too hard to avoid the bumps and it makes a very loud sound. It startled me
  • Take friends and have fun. It is short but well worth the laugh to hear the finally of William Tell Overture while driving.
  • It was definitely some song, not sure if William Tell. Just a couple miles from the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds and certainly worth the trip if in the area. It does sound better at 65 MPH, though 55 is the posted speed limit.
  • Sounds good to me at 67-70mph.
