  • This park had picnic tables and a view of the water. What a bust. We were not camping, so maybe that would be a salvation, but for a scenic visit- a bust  more »
  • Thought it would be fun to see the beaches of Maine. Was surprised how small it was. Views are beautiful, sand is gravelly and coarse. There are slippery rocks and picnic tables if you stay awhile. Wa...  more »
  • It's a park....nothing different than other parks we've been too. Hoped to see the eagles and ospreys but weren't lucky as we didn't see any.  more »

  • One word - AWESOME! Scienic, modern amenities, handicapped friendly, abondant nature, fantastic staff, I really can not say enough good things about this park. It is probably one of the best State parks I have ever been to, you owe it to your self to come here. Thank you Lamoine State Park.

  • Stayed here during our visit to Acadia National Park, it is away from the crowds and in a great location! The campground is beautiful, great views, and nice facilities. But just a warning: we roasted marshmallows during our first night and had several unwanted visitors...skunks! We saw them throughout the campground but they didn't bother with us the following night because we left the mallows in the car. We weren't really able to relax and unwind worrying about critters joining us around the fire...
  • This is a great place to go camping for a very reasonable price whether you have an RV or tent. They have potable water a dumping station, bathrooms and showers. There is access to the water but no beach. About a mile down the road there is a public beach . . . It's pretty rocky but you and/or the kiddos can get wet!
  • Clean, cozy, well laid out state park and campground. Kids had fun on the beach, the playground, and in the tree house. Would stay again for sure.
