  • We brought our grandchildren on a weekday (school was in session) and received a personal tour by Miss Jane of the animals at the farm. Miss Jane is a wealth of information and a real natural with the...  read more »
  • This is our second year going to the corn maze. Howell Farm does a great job! $10 to enter the maze. You have to collect puzzle pieces & answer questions. The kids loved it. Also, don't forget to send...  read more »
  • We were very impressed with the living farm. The people who work here were wonderful with the children. I was there with my daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren, ages 1, 3 and 5. There were sheep, hors...  read more »
  • I go to the Howell Farm every year. My grandfather and I run the steam engine. During shows our friend Jim makes homemade ice cream, that is delicious! I have many fond memories of this place.
  • Fantastic place to visit year round. Especially with your kids! Old time farming techniques with hands-on activities (generally on Saturdays - check the website). Help plant the potatoes, or shear the sheep, or harvest the potatoes depending on the season. In winter, harvest ice from the lake and put it in the ice house to last into the summer, etc, etc, etc. Lots of fun.
  • Nice farm with friendly staff and interesting activities.
  • Our visit was beautiful! I highly recommend bringing your little ones here to have them experience another world before tv, cell phones, and tablets. Lisa was our guide and she was quite knowledgeable and friendly. My only complaint would be that I didn't see a vending machine or light refreshments in the visitors center...on hot days it would be nice. Next time I go however, I'll be packing lunch for a picnic under the pine trees!
  • Fantastic facilities. Great to see the animals. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a good outing.
