  • Blacktail Mountain is our family's favorite ski hill. North facing slopes on a reverse hill make for great snow and we literally walk 30 feet from the parking lot to be on the snow. Relaxed and fun--g...  more »
  • I skied there 2 days and had great snow both days. Getting there did take longer than I thought it would but my rental (Subaru Crosstrek) didn't have any trouble with the roads. The bar upstairs is fu...  more »

  • Great place to visit for a few days. Gatta check it out on a powder day when all the other powder hounds are packed into the larger resort. Great place to find some untracked lines! Great bar and grill at the top as well.
  • Hi all, Met Steve today Feb 15th, he is one of the owners. H e showed us around a bit I could not do much, because I broke my clavicle at another ski area but was planning on skiing there. Surely will next year. What a great guy he sat with us and sit was surely his time to go home. Thanks to him and his staff that waited on us at the bar. The hand cut fries were to die for. The first place I head is the Bathroom, that tells the whole story. They were clean as a whistle as was the rest of the building. Vertical is good as the length of runs. This is a fairly new and upcoming Ski area. The drive up is a bit long but the view is awesome so time goes by quickly. From what I was told, a lot of Big Mountain transplants. With north facing runs, they have a long season. I am a instructor from eastern ski area and this will be my first destination west. THANKS AGAIN STEVE
  • Great slopes. Great staff. Great views. Everything about this place is wonderful. Definitely has more of a local/homey feel vs a crowded tourist destination, which makes it relaxing, refreshing and peaceful.
  • Loved the mountain! Great price, nice staff, good drinks. Will return, thumbs up!
  • This place has great prices and plenty of runs. Off the beaten path yet still within an hour of Kalispell. Facilities are very clean too. AWESOME.
