  • Best hot chocolate in town! I have lived in the area for almost a year and finally visited this store when I had family in town. My family member got a lemon bar and he loved it!  more »

  • Love this place. They sell everything Adirondack from jams to jewelry, jackets, bedding, and wall decor. If nothing else, just walk through this place. It's worth the stop.
  • Incredibly disappointed with the treatment by the store owner to myself and my children. I walked in the store- grabbed money from my husband since I didn't have my wallet and turned around to get told to "watch my child." Wow...maybe 10 seconds had past. After going back and forth I was told that "(she) raised two wonderful children, so maybe I should try" and my favorite that I need to teach my children to "look with their eyes, not their hands." Absolutely terrible- my 1 yr old and 3 yr old were on full judgement today- and to my surprise, after seeing me for 10 seconds, so was I. The owner of this store is a disgrace- miserable, judgmental and rude. If you are a mother (or woman) who believes in supporting other mothers, don't shop here. She doesn't deserve your business. She barely deserves the time I've taken to write this review but as a working mother of two constantly trying to do my best and sick of old, negative post menopausal judgmental women who treat judging other mothers like a sport- I cannot let this one go. She has my pledge to continue to share my story and simply ask all others not to spend a single dime at this store. I wish this woman a long life- clearly she hasn't learned a single thing in the 65 years that she's lived on this earth.
  • The french baguet was delicious. The outer layer of the bread was crispy with an airy soft inside. It had a nice flavor. The apple cider doughnuts were also delicious. Not overly sweet just right. The owner was pleasant and helpful. One has to go upon there own experience and see for themself and not make a judgement based on some one who is negative, winey, sexist, and egotistical. Things can break if not handled correctly. This is their livelihood and how they make money. Some person has to get over herself.
  • my son brought us some italian herb infused olive oil - awesome.
