  • I was here for a meeting expecting decent food and was sorely disappointed. Actually, I felt cheated on the food, but the ambience was nice. I would eat before I come again.
  • Lots to do and see on fall weekends. My kids love this place. The donuts and cider are great too. Plus some cute little shops.
  • Canterbury use to be a really nice place to take the family. Not much left to it. The Christmas collection has really gone down hill. I go to the village more often then not these days to visit the Ci...  read more »
  • Great place to relax and take the children. Yates cider mill is awesome, their is a carousel for little kids. Also there is several shops with various products such as Celtic gear. The C-pub is a nice little place to get a brew and a burger. There are shows/festivals here frequently in the summer. Car shows, beer festivals and various other types. My daughter loved the glockenspiel!
  • Family friendly! Irresistibly cozy and festive during anytime of the year!
  • What happened to this place?! We took our son there for his first Christmas 3 years ago and it was magical and beautiful. Fast forward to this year, I couldn't believe how disappointing this place is. The large Christmas Store is now only two small storefronts as a huge Mega Church has taken over the building (terrible decision). We went to see Santa which used to be a beautiful display, now he is crammed into a small corner of an overcrowded portion of the store with just a man in a cheap Santa rental costume. The beautiful carousel was not even running. It appears this place has fallen on some hard times which is such a shame, because we would had hoped to continue a family tradition of going there. It's just not a very festive or magical place anymore. Very sad.
  • The Olde World has faded away and leaves less to offer. A big piece of the complex was sold to a church organization and it no longer has that mini Frankenmuth feel. There are still some nice shops with nice items to buy buy but the visitors were hardly present.
  • It's closer than Frankenmuth I just wish they had a great restaurant..Great place one-of-a-kind in Michigan
