  • Great example of making things better... An old bridge becomes a showplace. Beautiful flowers planted and maintained by volunteer residents. Well worth the time to stop in Lake Lure and take a walk in the garden over the Rocky Broad River.
  • A very cute old bridge that Lake Lure turned into a community botanical garden. Over 700 varieties of plants and lots of community arts and crafts as well. An excellent deal for the money, which is donation only.
  • This is a must-see if you're in Lake Lure. There is convenient parking just west of the bridge, which is a plus. The various plants and flowers are beautiful. Even without all that the view of the lake from the bridge is worth checking out.
  • I happend to stumble upon this during my drive to Chimney Rock. It was beautifully designed and an easy short walk.
  • Beautiful and amazing variety of flowers and plants. A great re-purposing of the old bridge.
