  • We launched at the new Windsor 4 ramp in the state park. The staff were fantastic on this crazy crowded Memorial Day weekend. They guided traffic perfectly, managed the ramp and even had golf carts go...  more »

  • We were not able to stand the smell at this area as if some animal or specie is going rotten, pretty smelly which causes you vomit. It was burning hot, too that day. Make sure to drink lots of water. ...  more »

  • Fun place, cute if little over priced shops. Be prepared to pay $5 per cup of you want shaved ice. The ferry ride is fun, takes you to a little casino across the lake.
  • Went here for my bachelor party and putted around the lake in a pontoon boat. Everyone was nice and friendly. We spent a good amount of time in copper canyon, watching people jump off the rocks into the water.
  • This park is kept very clean. Various trails around the lake to 4x4 through. Park officials are friendly and help very much and they are always cleaning. I was impressed on how people took their mess with them in order to keep the park clean. Well done travellers, bravo!
  • We have enjoyed camping here for a long time but it is practically impossible to get a reservation even months in advance. Up until a short time ago you could show up and if there were no campsites you could go to the overflow for $25.00 per night. We showed up today and they have discontinued allowing overflow parking. Now that very large area is unused and the state of Arizona is not taking in the revenue and people don't get the full enjoyment of this beautiful park. Whoever made this decision is not operating with the public in mind. Reconsider!
  • Beautiful place to launch your boat with some camp grounds near the lake. There isn't a lot of shade so be wary of the summer heat. The views are worth a stay.
