Beautiful view across an expansive valley after crossing the Continental Divide. Many travelers stop here for the view. Absolutely breathtaking.
Stopped here at the visitor center and got some information. It's a good place to take photos. Here the mountains meet the plains. The aspen trees were in full color and just gorgeous.

Great bathroom break, with excellent views of 7 of Colorado's 14ers. The air is so clear and clean. The visitors center was helpful in answering oir questions. Nice sidewalk paths through the trees to and from the little RV parking area.
This pass rest stop offers easy access to clean compost toilets, a gift shop, walking trails, and amazing views. Take a picnic and walk up to the top of the trail for a lunch with breathtaking views. Keep in mind that the bathrooms do not have running water, including a sink. Take natural wipes or nature safe soap and a bottle of water if you need to wash your hands.
Wilkerson Pass is without a doubt, one of the best views in Colorado. You can see an insane amount of 14ers. Beautiful trees and wildlife are all around as you travel through or stop at the rest area/gift shop/point of interest. Love it here.
Finally open again, a great place to get out of the car on that long drive up Breck or out to Beuna Vista
