  • My wife and I loved this beautiful location & scenery yesterday in the Colorado high country. Amazing!  more »
  • Gorgeous views in several directions. The feeling of solitude and peace is very strong here. I would highly recommend stopping along the overlook and other places along Highway 24. An amazing place...  more »
  • Don't just drive by this gem of a vista. You can view more than 15 Colorado mountains from this one pass less than an hour outside to the west of Colorado Springs on US highway 24.  more »

  • This pass rest stop offers easy access to clean compost toilets, a gift shop, walking trails, and amazing views. Take a picnic and walk up to the top of the trail for a lunch with breathtaking views. Keep in mind that the bathrooms do not have running water, including a sink. Take natural wipes or nature safe soap and a bottle of water if you need to wash your hands.
  • Absolutely gorgeous views. Stop for some pics if you're passing through.
  • Whoa!!! Stop for the view, especially in the fall. There is a dog walk at the far end of the parking lot. And someone lives behind the visitor center?! How lucky!
  • Great bathroom break, with excellent views of 7 of Colorado's 14ers. The air is so clear and clean. The visitors center was helpful in answering oir questions. Nice sidewalk paths through the trees to and from the little RV parking area.
  • Great views of South Park, and some interesting historical and geological information.
