Adirondack Winery, Lake George

4.2
#3 of 170 in Wineries in New York State
Winery / Vineyard Food & Drink
Taste a selection of handcrafted, award-winning wines at Adirondack Winery. The winery produces well-known varieties, such as Chardonnay and pinot noir, to an array of sweet, fruity blends. The winery doesn't have its own vineyard and instead uses premium grapes from different regions to broaden its selection. During an informative tasting tour, you can try seven different wines and keep the glass as a souvenir. After discovering your favorite taste, you can purchase a bottle or some of the wine accessories at the gift shop. Kids can follow you into the winery and have some sweets while you taste the wine. Smaller groups don't need to book a tour in advance. Make Adirondack Winery part of your personalized Lake George itinerary using our Lake George itinerary planner.

  • Got a good deal for a wine tasting. I am not a big wine drinker but the lady helping us was awesome. She took the time to listen to what we did and didn't like in a wine and switched up our samples accordingly to make sure we had the best experience possible.
  • Place was great & Mitch was awesome as he described each of the flight of 8 glasses we tasted! We bot a case of our favorite one, and the prices were very fair. If I had to add one negative it would be I wish they poured more in each glass šŸ„‚. Overall, we loved it there & will def be backšŸ‘
  • The tasting was delicious with a lot of options. Staff is very friendly with lots of knowledge on the wines
  • Staff was very nice and informative, wine selection was decent enough. The atmosphere was very strange. Felt like a bar was thrown in the middle of a gift shop. Ambience left much to be desired, and we would definitely stay longer had they conveyed more of a cozy atmosphere.
  • Sunny Day wine was great. The sample pours were very small.
