  • It was a really nice zoo...and you could get up close and personal with the animals. Enjoyed stopping and getting to walk around without a crowd.
  • Nice smaller zoo type park. Smaller but enough to look at. Great local attraction for children. Friendly staff.
  • Wonderful gem. Off the beaten track, but well-worth the time and travel. It's in a natural setting, so you have to watch your step and in some areas it can be a little tricky to maneuver a stroller. A...  more »

  • We had an amazing time here. I'm glad I didn't go by all of these ridiculous reviews. My 2 year old LOVED IT. the animals were fun to see and actually interacted with us, especially the monkeys and pigs. The staff is helpful and super friendly. If people are complaining about animals in cages, they shouldn't be going to a zoo. The cages seemed fine honestly. They were clean and the animals were moving around pretty freely. If you are expecting to see the giraffe, he is no longer there. He passed away last year, We will definitely be going back!
  • If you love to see rats this is definitely the place to visit. Within minutes of walking in I saw the first rat. 20 minutes later I walked out because I couldn't handle the amount of rats I encountered. They have some nice animals but they are not taken care of. Definitely would not recommend to anyone
  • I was surprised at this cute little zoo. There is a petting area and a great lorikeet feeding area. You get really close to the big cats. There is a smallmsnack bar and a large gift shop. The paths are not paved so a tough stroller is needed.
  • This is our second time there. Last year with our daughter when she was 1 and this year as a 2 year old. Lol. Our experience was horrible. Paths are horrible. You need an all terrain stroller to maneuver through them. The enclosures seem too small so animals sleep in depression or pace in their enclosure. Its very hard for children to see exhibits due to over grown weeds and dirty windows. There are no bathrooms except all the way down by entrance (we're potty training so we had to rush down the steep rocky path to get to bathroom on time). The best part of the entire zoo was the bird feeding and turtle town. The petting zoo area looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time and you need change to get feed but we were unaware of that prior so we only had bills, no change. All the enclosures seemed very rough and dirty. Lastly the staff wasn't very customer service oriented. Very few say hi or even acknowledged customers. We had hoped for some new exhibits from last year but nothing was different if anything it looked more run down. I think we're going to try Lake Tobias as a replacement. If claws and paws decides to change it up we'll come back but today was a waste of $50.
  • Lots of interesting animals. Well kept. In the shade.
