Unbeknownst to me, my buddy took me out here to specifically jump from the cliffs. While he was looking for those spots, I was caught up with the scenery. There are crabs all along the cliffside, and ... more »
You probably don't need to spend a lot of time here, but it's a scenic little spot, especially if you get there around sunrise. more »
This rock formation was absolutely incredible. The view and the tide coming in on the shoreline rocks was amazing. A must see, however watch your step on the rocks along the shore (trip hazard). more »
If you're looking for a quick, scenic viewpoint, this would be a great choice. Stunning views of the windward coast and the hole in the rock cultural legend of the mo'o make this spot a great and worthwhile quick stop. Not a lot of walking to explore this spot but the walking you will do is on jagged rocks and can easily be tripped on and/or can rip your skin open. That being said, shoes would be best but slippers are doable. Either way, be careful when walking here as a trip can easily land you in the hospital or worse, in the ocean. My main complaint with this place is the parking. There seems to be a parking area off of the asphalt road in but the drop off from the asphalt is way too high for normal cars or even trucks to manage. This leads many to just park at the end of the paved road in front of "No Parking Anytime" signs. There are trash cans but no restrooms (probably a good thing, as this isn't a place you'll be spending a whole lot of time at anyway...). Apart from the parking, I really enjoyed this place. The beauty of the windward side really shows here. PLEASE KEEP THIS PLACE CLEAN AND IN GOOD SHAPE. LEAVE IT THE WAY YOU LEFT IT OR IN BETTER SHAPE.

This place is breathtaking. A good place to stop on a road-trip to see the 'real' uncommercialised Hawaii. Beware beforehand that there is very little parking available (5 cars at most on the point). The rocks are very sharp, so take shoes and carry children. Beautiful snorkeling and cliff diving nearby for confident swimmers. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of limited parking and because we were warned that we should not leave any valuables in the car due to regular break-in incidents. This sort of put a damper on the experience, as I didn't want to veer too far away from the car. Otherwise, STUNNING!!
Popular place for students and tourists alike! I will always remember the place for the memories it gave me and that I got to go here with Dr. Ben and discover interesting geological formations in the area :p fun fact: if you look closely at the rocky surface you can find fossilized tree roots! :D
I would recommend coming here on a windy to take great pictures of the water splashing behind you. If you are going to jump you should be an experienced swimmer. And go with a local that can show you where to jump and how to get out the water. But it has a Beautiful view🤗
So beautiful.. Clean blue water, great snorkeling, fishing and even a world famous cliff diving spot.. Exploring around the bottom shoreline is really cool. Lots of caves to explore but be very careful with the razor sharp coral and incoming tide.
