  • Yes you have to put up with LDS Missionaries. That's what they do, what's wrong with that? The grounds are very beautiful and the Visitor Center is interesting. People need to stop being so uptight an...  more »
  • It's beautiful. If you are LDS or are interested in the faith it's a good stop. The town of Laie is basically run by the LDS church and it's worth understanding the genesis of many of their rules and ...  more »

  • The vines in the back are pretty cool. Great for low-key George of the Jungle play
  • There is a spirit of peace and calm here. The Laie Hawaii Temple is beautiful, and the grounds are really well kept and beautiful. You can come here to calm a troubled heart, heal a hurting sohl, and find strength to make it through the hard times you face.
  • It Never fails to amaze me the beauty of this structure and its surrounding garden. It is so serene and enlightening. Out of all the places in Hawaii this one has the most calming feelings about it. Cool story back in ww2 the Japanese tried to bomb it because it was the biggest structure on the entire north-east side of the island but everything they flew over their mechanical bomb release wouldn't work. Must see, the Polynesian cultural center does a free tour from the center to the temple and back. Or just go there and stay for a while, it's worth the stop! Then check out active Oahu tours in Laie for kayak, snorkel tours and stand up paddle adventures.
  • As an LDS member myself there is no place like the temple. They have a tour of family's being together forever in the facility. A wall with all the important men of our church. Bibles of all tongues in a beautiful display. My husband and I decided that this would be the perfect spot to take our wedding photos. Not every body can go into the temple but we are working our way up there. Enjoy our pictures 🙂
  • I'm not religious but this building was beautiful and I am glad I went. Amazing location to walk around and look at the beauty all around.
