  • This museum offers so much rich history of the Chinese in Hawaii. I've attended many events such as Chinese New Years, the Kite Festival and others. Each time I learn something new.  more »

  • 10/31/16: 3.5 out of 5 - Interesting little museum of the Chinese Immigrants to Maui. Some ordinary pieces, but there are some interesting pieces of the time. The video loop in the cook shed is fascinating since was a Thomas Edison Film footage. Worth checking out if ever in Lahaina.
  • An old Chinese temple in downtown Lahaina. Fairly generic exhibits inside. The best part was an old film reel of the island made by Thomas Edison in 1898 (!) playing on loop in the cookhouse.
