Where to stay in Lahaina

Despite its popularity with tourists, Lahaina offers relatively few accommodations, which boil down to rental properties and several hostel-like establishments with rooms available on a nightly, weekly, or monthly basis. If you don't have to stay in Lahaina itself, consider lodgings in Kaanapali, less than 15 minutes away by car. Other good options are the resort hotels just to the north of Lahaina, and oceanside campgrounds to the south.

  • Caught this one by accident by exploring Lahaina. Super creative art with bright colors. Plus not clich├ęd tourist art. The family that runs it is very friendly and true art enthusiasts themselves. Pri...  more »

  • Not impressed. There's better artists on Maui worth your time and money.
  • Exuberant, imaginative, playful, and exquisitely executed are the words I choose to describe my 28 x 48 Fish Painting I purchased from Costantino Art. Being new to the island, I thought the large painting would add some much needed character to my small living space. It is such a friendly painting and it reminds me of the awesome spirit of this beautiful Maui family. My visitors to my home all agree that I made an excellent purchase and am in good company with my "Seventies Shag" Painting. Daily, this wonderful work of art reminds me how blessed I am for my life on this island and the how fortunate I am to share company with special friends such as the Constantino family! This painting has brought me much joy and I look forward to buying more Costantino Art...Shelley 4/2011
  • A 100% must visit for anybody going to Maui. Learn what Hawaii and Aloha are really all about...family, friends, and the stories that chronicle our lives. Amazing art, amazing family, amazing time spent under the shade trees. A visit to Costantino Art will leave you with an amazing piece of art that you will cherish and will provide you special meaning for a lifetime. Even if you don't purchase a painting, you will surely learn the true meaning of Aloha and the Hawaiian spirit. So pull over your convertible mustang, put away your guide book, get away from the commercial must visit spots and check it out! Dan and Mags
  • We're so glad we turned around when we drove by staring at your inviting outdoor gallery one night. We knew from the moment we stepped in that we were going to find something that would punctuate our style in the condo we had recently purchased. The range and portfolio of your work is stunning. Thanks again for spending the better part of your evening to share your backgrounds. The warmth of your hospitality and conversation left an indelible mark on our paintings. Rachel & Tony
  • I had the pleasure of watching Steph and Auggie paint nearly every night during my visit to Maui. Not only did they allow me to look over every painting they had on hand, the eagerly explained technique and style and their process. Without pressure or expectation they allowed me to sit and watch while they worked away. It was an education I couldn't have paid for! Along with painting they eagerly shared their favorite haunts in Maui, giving us tips on restaurants, beaches and shops. I knew that having a piece of Costantino art would not only be important for remembering a great trip and an amazing family, but would also be the perfect way to begin our own art collection. The Costantino's have made our return trip to Maui an absolute must!
