  • If you can't actually get to Jerusalem, this is the next best thing. It's like actually going back into Antiquity. Can't really compare to the Holy Land Experience in Florida. It's a totally different kind of opportunity. Go see for yourself. You won't regret it!!
  • This is a hidden gem that believers should not miss. Worth any day drive from anywhere. We took our family on a unscheduled trip there but did not understand the pricing and times. You need to make reservations for guided tours and meal/tour packages. We missed the last tour and we were upset but they did some calls and pulled some strings and let us join a tour in progress then join a new, last-minute tour. We quickly realized why so many people post rave reviews. Our guide (Vern) made everything "come off the page" as he would say. Attention to detail and the stories they share are amazing. Vern really knew a ton we had not heard or learned before. For families with children, be prepared that the tour is at least 2 hours but there is a place where some can play in the sand and dig for "artifacts" with supervision. Older kids should definitely stay on the tour as there are some live animals and interesting stories they will pick up on (even if they are pretending not to be listening). We plan on bringing our small group and friends from church to the meal and tour for Christmas or the Lent/Easter season.
  • Extremely interesting..A little out of the way but worth it.
  • Make sure you get a guided tour if its available. We got to meet Dr. Fleming the last time we visited. They have done a great job of bringing history to life. You can walk through a threshing floor, an old testament tent, and a manger. You can check out agricultural equipment used during those times. Make sure you check out the world-class Artifacts Gallery (lots of items related to death here as fair warning).
  • Great experience overall. The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and I learned so much during the meal and tour. Seeing ancient artifacts from biblical times was worth the trip alone.
