  • We went here because we had read good reviews and were looking forward to walking out into the rookery on the raised boardwalk. When we arrived the entry into the Visitor Center was closed so no acces...  more »
  • The bayou is magical. We had the chance to do late in the day (15 H / 17 H), in the dark of the Sun (in November) and experienced a moment of poetry, on a small boat sneaking into these beautiful landscapes. Alligators, great blue heron, turtles, egrets in the program. Not to be missed. AND more interesting than the swamps to HOuma.
