  • Something most people don't get a chance to see close up. Got to be very brave or nuts to jump off a cliff. Fun place for family. Some eats and drinks. Good fun at low cost.  more »
  • On a nice, windy day, it was a blast just to sit and watch for an hour or so. If our teenagers had been with us, I'm sure they would have wanted to take a tandem ride. We old folks didn't, but we chec...  more »

  • Unforgettable experience, but you must be patient. If the winds are at the minimum I would wait until it picks up. The ride will be more enjoyable and you won't have to walk back up the beach. Not a terrible hike just wasn't expecting it.
  • you can get a lot out of just watching the paraglider's launch into the sunset. Worth seeing. And if you are around a lot, maybe take part in.
  • amazing place to paraglide..i wanted hangliding but couldn't do coz of insufficient winds..wud be a nice idea to call 'em beforehand to be sure if the winds are ok and nit gettin dissapointed.very friendly staff out there and one pilot even dropped me an my friend a long way to our bus stop..nice one
  • Quiet, excellent hike up & down so be prepared to work to relax. Favorite beach spot in all of SD so far. Parking is difficult & crowded. Friendly open people w/o gawkers & creepy feeling.
  • We were driving on the 56 going west when I noticed the sun about to set and the rays peeking through the clouds...I told my husband to drive towards Torrey pines state reserve to catch the sunset...there wasn't any parking but he knew of this little place called the Glider Port. We drove through the bumpy dirt field and ended at the most beautiful place to watch the sunset...it really was heaven on earth...every part of it...
