  • The temple is one of the prettiest temples that I have ever seen. It was very peaceful on the grounds. The surrounding areas seemed very safe and upscale.  more »
  • Not really an attraction to visit, but a beautiful drive by or stop to walk around. Very inspiring sights, beautiful grounds.  more »
  • This is a beautiful place to visit, regardless of whether or not you can go inside. It's a good place for quiet reflection. The grounds are beautiful and it's very peaceful.  more »

  • If there is anything close to a Disney Castle in this life, this could potentially be the one! What a majestic building! I loved it there and I wish I lived near by to go more often to visit. Very beautiful place both during the day and night.
  • We found the building and the whole atmosphere nothing but creepy. We would have liked to get an impression from the inside, but it's for authorized people only. Two stars instead of one because of the beautiful gardens.
  • What a magnificent Temple filled and decorated with so much symbolism. From the symbol of Melchizedek throughout, to the spires that assist the viewer in gazing Heaven ward thus raising our thoughts from mere mortal maters, to the Angel Moroni facing the East awaiting Christ's return. This is a place to come, learn of Christ, and feel His peace.
  • My curiosity of the church was stuck with me from the commercials back in the 70's & 80's. Being from Chicago at that time the LDS church didn't really have a footprint there at the time. Then I moved to Oxnard just north of LA and I took the drive to San Dog and I just remember this place coming out of the darkness as you were heading south on the 5. I was like what in the hell is that??? Then I saw the inscription on the side with the Moroni statue on top I was very awestruck. Then the curiosity reignited and I wanted to see what it was all about and it wasn't until I went to Okinawa in 95 and saw a flyer inviting you out to church.....I went investigated.....Easter of 96 I was baptised same week Gordon Hinckley passed thru dedicating the Temple in Hong Kong. • My wife grew up believing that Love is Eternal. When she learned that family members can be together Forever by becoming Sealed to one another in the Temple, she gladly joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We Love the San Diego California Temple. It brings us close to Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and Heavenly Father. Our capacity to love our family and many of Heavenly Father's children increases with each Temple visit.
