  • For weak people such as myself, I highly recommend going with a partner in one of the tandem kayaks. It's a lot more physical activity than I expected, but in a good way. It was a very choppy day according to our guide so I'm sure on a calmer day with less waves it would be less physically intensive. Our guide, Phil, was friendly and helpful. He was very knowledgeable about the area and had some fun facts for us. Unfortunately we were not able to get close to the sea caves with the conditions but it was a good time. I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND RENTING THE WETSUITS. We would have frozen our butts off if my partner had their way but the wetsuits are worth the small fee. It was also nice to have when we flipped our kayak getting out at the end 🤣 If you want pictures I'd purchase one of the dry bags for your phone, but don't bring your camera unless it's waterproof and secure. You will get wet, like more wet than you think. Though, I think there is more enjoyment in just being present for this activity so you could just leave the phones/cameras in your car or locker. The experience was fun and being out in the ocean was beautiful but the pictures weren't anything exciting. Good news: if you survive and return to this location again in the future you will get 50% off future rentals (not that anyone wouldn't survive this trip, it's just what they say). Oh and definitely find parking in the residential area as suggested on the tickets, rather than the 90 minute parking because our trip ran over by almost an hour in the end.
  • Had an amazing experience on the kayaking adventure into La Jolla cove! Josh was our tour guide and was very knowledge about the history and nature of San Diego/ the cove! It was very special to kayak into the cove and get a once in a lifetime experience!! Not to mention seeing dolphins along the way! Would recommend going in the winter time when there are less kayaks and tours going on. Anyone visiting or living in San Diego should do this if you crave adventure and beautiful views :)
  • A group of 6 of us went kayaking today as part of a birthday celebration and Danielle was our tour guide, she was great! Very informative! Had such a wonderful time! We even got to kayak near seals and sea lions!
  • Atican our tour guide for our kayak adventure was fantastic. He provided cool insights about La Jolla, the sea caves and seemed genuinely concerned when one of the people in our group of eight was having issues with sea sickness. He even had ginger chews with him and offered them out to a couple of people. We saw sea lions playing in the water right next to our kayak, sharks and plenty of California state fish! We would do it again in a second.
  • This was a can’t miss experience! We saw so much wildlife, being out on the ocean was incredible and our guide, Tucker, was impeccable. Highly recommend the tour. They have wetsuits you can rent for 10$ if you’re cold sensitive ( you WILL get wet) but at 63 degrees (9am tour In mid November, sunny and maybe 55-60 degrees air temp?) the water really wasn’t too bad. They also have lockers you can rent for 5$ to store valuables and waterproof/floating phone cases for purchase! I would absolutely do again in a heartbeat!
