  • The Rotary lights that start on Black Friday evening are wonderful! Such a family affair. You can drive through, walk and hear the beautiful music or take a horse drawn carriage ride through the park....  more »
  • IF you have time stop down at Riverside when a paddle wheel is moored. A sight many people will never witness.

  • Large beautiful park right on the Mississippi and right in the heart of town. Plenty of free parking and plenty of grass for kids to run around. Benches to sit and watch the river go by. Riverboat cruise docked here and river museum/ gift shop in park. Restaurants very nearby.
  • Riverside is a great place to walk around and enjoy the river. Also good for playing Pok√©mon Go, haha.
  • The friendship gardens is a very nice piece. The fountains are beautiful and the river view is always wonderful. Take a trip on the LaCrosse queen from here. The park is a nice break from the downtown cramped atmosphere and traffic.
  • I don't think I have been in a city park with more natural beauty and good use of green space. Nested along the banks of the Mississippi river. Can catch a community band, play frisbee, walk in the friendship garden, take a tour on a riverboat, the list goes on.
  • Beautiful park. Not too crowded and very clean. Great view of the river, must see during the sunset!
