  • A first time visit, we were greeted that day by a half dozen school buses in the parking lot waiting the return of youngsters on a field trip, attesting to how the local public system views the educat...  more »
  • We have a 5, 3 and 1 year old. The older two did fine and really enjoyed the experience. The youngest one wanted to touch everything, but you're not allowed, so he got pretty annoyed. We had him in th...  more »
  • My first visit. Better signage would be great, as the cave is in the country. I would mention if you come in via 78 West, stop at Premise Maid Chocolates. A perfect side trip at a chocolate factory. S...  more »
  • Fantastically beautiful Cavern system. Remember to bring a coat or sweater, it's a cool 54 degrees inside the caves themselves. My only complaint is that the guides really do try to rush you through and leave limited time for questions. A few people in our tour group were trying to ask, and they were ignored.
  • The guide was informative & funny in the tour of the cave. This may not be suitable for very small children though. I brought my 2 year old and they briefly turn off the lights in the cave & he was really scared, but overall it's a nice spot for the day and nice tour!
  • A really cool, huge cave. It's a bit commercialized, with big tour group sizes so you are knocking elbows with people the whole time. But when you get to the top, they turn off all the lights and that's pretty amazing.
  • it starts out with a 13 minute video of some history of the cave, followed by about a 45 minute tour after. The cave is beautiful, (and a bit chilly, because it is underground. it stays about 55 degrees) and the history is interesting, but our tour guide was a little annoying. I would have preferred to been able to just slowly walk through and take in the cave myself. The tour would be good for small children. the tour guide reiterated what was said in the video, and had some cave puns to go along with it. I'd recommend checking it out if you're not too far from Crystal Cave.
  • Went here on a rainy weekend and took the tour of the cave. It took about an hour and the guide was very pleasant and gave us a lot of information about the history of the cave and how it was discovered. They also have a gift shop and a small snack bar.
