  • Saw the sign on a return trip home and stopped. It was a really nice place and my 10 and 12 y.o. enjoyed it thoroughly. Was a bit pricey. Advise looking for a coupon beforehand.  more »

  • It was very neat inside, nice tour - don't forget to tip. we hiked their nature trail but after went over to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary since its relatively close (25 min) and highly recommend those two as an "offline day" for the family to enjoy! Throw in an antiques store, winery or cabellas if your budget allows :). New 2018 cave rates, $16 adults & $12 for under 12yrs old.
  • A scenic and enjoyable place to visit! One learns a great deal there and is reasonably priced! The tour guide was so knowledgeable and interesting to listen to.
  • So fun! My girlfriend and I went during the off-season and there were only 4 people total in the group. The video was a little dated but that wasn't a big deal for us, it wasn't thrilling or anything but it was still interesting to learn a little bit about geology. The cave itself isn't huge. It's definitely interesting, and the guide did a great job painting a picture of what society looked like in the 1800s and later as tourism in the area developed. The rock formations were cool and the lighting made them stand out, and it was fun using our imaginations to see shapes and figures in them. The staff was great, too. Our guide was funny and friendly and the people in the shop were nice and don't push you to buy anything. They've got snacks, like rock candy (of course) and alligator jerky, and there's a hand-dipped (whatever that means) ice cream parlor on the same lot. The ice cream shop was closed when we were there but that's not unexpected, it was in the low 50's. Your mileage may vary, we tend to have fun no matter what we do together. For what it's worth, I'd say $29 for an hour of fun for 2 people is money well spent. I'd recommend it to anyone, if you go in with a little curiosity you'll have a great time.
  • This place is AWESOME! The cave tour was great!! The gift shop awesome!! Cant wait to come back again!! The drive from Delaware to there was great!
  • This place is fun and has lots of activities to do in the summer. The souvenir store can be a little pricy, but has awesome things you can buy. The tour in the cave is very fun and very education, but the cave is very small compared to others.
